Here is information on transportation possibilities to and from the Houston Area Airports and the Galvez Hotel. Keep in mind that HOU are the call letters for Hobby Airport and IAH is for George Bush International. Rates on all possibilities are less from Hobby; it is possible to mix roundtrips if you fly in and out of different airports.
- Car rentals, Uber, and Lyft, as well as regular taxi service operate out of both airports.
- ASI has negotiated favorable rates with Galveston Limo Service.
The BEST and LEAST EXPENSIVE option for normal-sized parties is the Shared Shuttle option offered by Galveston Limo. The roundtrip cost per person is $50.00 from IAH and $40.00 from HOU. A mixed trip would be $55.00. The shuttles can accommodate all luggage and collapsible wheelchairs.
