Jeeps R Us is a family owned business that was started over 30 years ago. Their founder Larie Tales previously a drag car racer and mechanic started building custom jeeps for himself, until word got out how good they were. Word of mouth has catapulted Jeeps R Us into creating custom jeeps for clients all over the United States.

Challenge

Initially, understanding the Jeeps R Us brand and its following of loyal customers and the services they demand. Navigating data within an organization that hasn’t embraced an abundance of technology made our initial goal setting objectives difficult. Utilizing an extensive competitive analysis of similar organizations to gain insight on what’s trending and applying that to the core capabilities of Jeeps R Us.

Approach

Our team at PAK Digital literally rolled up our sleeves and became a part of the team at Jeeps R Us. Helping them to organize their data collection into a system that utilizes technology to gather more information about their customers and providing regular communication. Great content from years ago existed online that was lost in the shuffle during a previous redevelopment of their digital strategy had to be found, organized and reapplied to their new mobile friendly web portal. New back-end technology allows the staff onsite to manage their inventory of custom jeeps along with any integrated social media campaigns.

Results

While the jury is still out on results for generating new customers and their desire to create a new custom jeep that can climb Mount Everest. We do know that utilizing google analytics has seen a dramatic increase in user engagement on their website and interaction with their now nearly 1,200 Instagram fans. Recently their founder Larie Tales passed away, yet the team at Jeeps R Us continues his vision of creating something special for all the outdoor loving, off-roading fans.
